#Artnews: 🍌Andy Warhol's exhibition in Barcelona 🍌

"Art is Art. Fashion is Fashion. However, Andy Warhol proved that they can exist together.” -Karl Lagerfeld.

You can visit aw exhibition at caixa forum in barcelona until the 31t of december. The show is a complete retrospective of the artist's work, since his beginnings, as a graphic designer in New York City, until his death, when he was already an icon.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Warhol moved to New York in 1949 immediately after finishing his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Pictorial Design. Before he became a leading figure in Pop Art - one of the most famous and debated artistic movements of the 20th Century- he had already begun gaining recognition. Warhol worked as an illustrator for Harper's Bazaar, drawing shoes, clothes and beauty products, and founded Interview, one of the most influential publications in fashion and art.

We are very inspired by his choice of colours, brilliant and unexpected!
